I love staying in Boise, tomorrow should not happen

So I realized something this past week. I really like it when people (especially  guys) call me "lady". I think it is so cute. Some of my co-workers when they see me in the cafe will say "hey lady!" to me and it makes me so happy.   So want to get on my good side? Call me lady. hehe

Makes me think of the janitor from Scrubs. haha

Can I just say though, that I REALLY REALLY do not like it when guys say "hey you" to me. It is the most annoying thing ever.
This one co-worker always bothers me when we work the same shifts, and tonight he came back to cafe for no reason and was all like "hey you". OMGSH!
To make it weirder I had already seen him and made him a drink before hand. SO awkward. I feel awkward just reliving that moment.
(Do things ever weird you out so much that you feel almost nauseous thinking about it.)

In other news; today my mission medic class took pre-orders for hand made truffles that we are making.
I ran the table after both services. We raised a bunch of money. On wednesday Shekinah and I are going to be making the truffles at Katie's house (Katie is a lady in our class who has the recipies).
We Have to make like a thousand truffles this week. Oh MAN! hahaha
I'm excited about it though.
Don't worry I haven't forgotten about posting the info about the shirts, there just isn't any yet.
 Night!

before I forget

let me tell you about Salsa.
It is at this little cafe downtown. There is lessons starting at 9 (i think) and after that  they just let people dance for hours. We got there too late for the lessons but it didn't matter much.
You go into this small cafe that is crowded with people and you find a place to wait.
It is like in all the 90's movies where the girls are standing against the wall waiting for someone to ask them to dance, only the people actually on the floor dancing look amazing.
The music is much better too.
Shekinah (the friend I went with) and I hadn't been there long before we got asked to dance. My first salsa dance was a success. I made sure I warned the guys right away that I was a novice dancer.
It was so much fun, and I loved that I really didn't need to know too much to dance with them because they led so well. So I would dance a dance with one guy and go back to waiting. I usually only waited for one song before I got asked again to dance. It was fun because I got to dance with some really good dancers and they  had me do really cool spins and  steps. It was the best time. Not to mention it just feels really good to go out and dance and shake your hips to the music and have some Latino guy lead you around the floor.
I am definitely planning on going weekly. It is way too much fun. I am also planning to definitely move downtown as soon as I can. Hopefully when I get back from Ecuador in June. :]

I can't wait till my Midwest friend come to visit and I can take them salsa dancing.
                                  LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today = Favorite shirt day!

That is all I have to say.
I am so proud of myself though. Since moving here I have really grown so much.
I have learned so many things and had to be brave even when I didn't want to be. It has been the best thing ever.
Vulnerability is ALWAYS worth it. How did I forget that??

I had a work meeting this morning, then went out for breakfast with Niki and Courtney.
We then went to a park and Niki cut both our hair. Played on the playground equipment.
   Got some frozen yogurt....mmmmmmm..
Niki re-colored my hair, and I worked for 5 hours.
It was a fun day at work.
*I also wore y favorite shirt. I sure do love it.

Oh and I forgot to tell you that I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. haha
I would like to go downtown and hang out for a little while, but I'm worried things will be closed. It is all good though; I don't mind spending some time snuggling with the pups and watching a movie.

Mugsy and Bugsy are their names
   I love these pups.

Today was all about working,
Driving Baby to Boise, getting a bit turned around and just driving in circles, in turn familiarizing myself with down town a bit more.
Snuggling some puppies,
 Drinking tea,
then going out for some salsa dancing with a friend.
Great times.
The most important thing is having a partner that can actually lead.  It is so hott, not gonna lie.
I think I will go on a weekly basis.
  Love it!!!
Tomorrow I have a work meeting bright and early.

I LOVEEEE BOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cold weather sucks the life out of me

I said this the other night at BWW with some class mates. I just keep thinking about it and how I was so  excited and serious when I said it. They were talking about learning how to pilot a plane, I then blurted out
"I would like to learn how to fly Peter Pan style, I think I could be good at it!".

I really do feel that way though even now.

I am convinced

one big thing that separates most Main stream artists from indie artist is that indie artists actually sound good live.

This is one of my absolute favorite songs.
                :]

I just had to perform open heart surgery on Baby. She now has a brand new ticker.
I am so worried that when I have to take her to work next I will hardly know her anymore.
The battery was so shot. The neighbor guy came over to look at the battery, and he hooked it up to a charger thing and it was so beyond dead. So he called a near by battery place to see if they had a replacement, they said they had one for about 25 dollars.  Brenda and I went to get a new one and the guy at the battery place checked its charge to and said it was so far gone. He then said he mis-understood which battery we were coming in for and it would cost around $75 rather. He was able to get it down to like $61 for me. I figured that it may be a bit expensive for a battery, but the fact that It costs me only about 3 dollars every two weeks for gas definitely makes up for it.

That is my excitement for the day.

Any fan of Simon and Garfunkel is an automatic friend of mine.
I found a classic rock station. I have listened to it so much. Every time I hear an ELO or Chicago song I think of my dad. Love that guy! Started a book last night and read some of it today after I was finally home from work and school for the day.
I have tomorrow off, and to be honest, I kind of don't like having days off even though I know they are good for me.
Oh guess what??? I got up at 6:30 this morning to drive Brenda to work, and when I got home I didn't go back to bed. Mom, aren't you proud? hehehe
I also gave a sort of presentation at school today. I had to teach on "Danger Signs" as if I were addressing the women of  a village. Every time I talk in front of people now I get so proud of my self. I remember a few years ago I would about black out when talking in front of groups.  I guess I can thank my COMP 101 class for helping me feel at least a bit more comfortable talking in front of people. That and giving speeches with no notes. Tonight I had a little piece of paper with  probably a total of 10 words on it. ha
I wrote down what my "intro sentence" was supposed to be, which I honestly never looked at after writing it, and a few signs and symptoms. Hooray for the Irish gift of Eloquence.

ALSO after I picked Brenda up from work, she stopped off at Petsmart to get a sweater for Ziggy who got groomed and shaved a few days ago and has been freezing her little butt off. I stayed in the car reading because I know I cannot handle going into pet stores because they have Bulldog books that make me so sad. SO I was sitting in the car reading, and Brenda comes out of the store with this guy who is walking a super cute boy bulldog. The guy came out of the store just so I could pet his Bully. SOOO CUTE! I snuggled the pup and scratched it's bottom and rubbed it's wrinkly face and soft ears.(the bulldog was a boy, but I felt like if I said "I scratched his bottom" I may be talking about the owner and not the dog. Had to clarify. You know?)  It was great.
I miss my Honey dog really bad though. I think my parents should send her back to the states to live with me.

        Dear dad and mom,
Please send Honey back to her human, Me, as soon as possible. She is missed dearly and would love this glorious area.  I can hold off until after I am home from Ecuador, because then I will hopefully be living more downtown anyway, but not much longer than that.
  Sincerly your smarty pants daughter,
Hanna-banana-bread

Sorry for how unbelievably random this post is. My thoughts do that sometimes.
