I'm sure you must have noticed.

I added a new page to my blog.
This is to act as a registry for Andres and I.
I was trying to figure out how it works to register for gifts when your other half isn't with you to pick things out.
We tried doing an online registry while skyping, but it proved to be a bit more frustrating than hoped for.
The good news is that it was not in vain. We do now have a small registry at Target in case someone wanted to go off of that.
We decided rather to put together a list of things we foresee ourselves needing and are leaving it up to the discretion of  friends and family to chose what might be best.
What are some household items that you swear by? If you have a home, you know better what is good than I do.

I feel that shopping for the things that you will start your life with is something that you should do with your mate, and that is not an option for us. Thus, gift cards (as impersonal as they are) are a terrific option. I now get a very generous associate discount at JCPenny's and would naturally benefit from giftcards from there.
I guess ultimately what I mean to say is, if you really feel the need to get us anything you can get something off of this list. Please note that having family and friends around to support us with advice and love during the beginning of this journey is really the most precious gift we could receive.

life update

I enrolled in school last week.
I am going to get my associates in Medical Assisting.
I am really excited because this school is amazing. They have a 95% employment rate amongst graduates.
They are also really working with me to help me test out of courses and be able to finish as soon as possible.
I am just so excited.
Last night I also took an assessment test in the hopes that I would test out of some core classes.
I found out this morning that I scored above average on all three tests including math. In case you didn't know, I AM TERRIBLE AT MATH!!
No other course of study makes me want to give up and just work at McDonald's forever faster than Math.
So as you can tell, I am very happy about that.

Tonight I also have an interview at a YMCA. I basically already have a job there if I want it, but I am going to go check it out first and see how I fit into the program and what sort of hours they would have for me.
I also have an interview at a JCPennys tomorrow.
I may be working two jobs here in the near future.

Yesterday Andres started working.
He is pretty happy about that. I am happy about it, but I will honestly tell you that I miss being able to chat with him through out my day, which cannot happen now.
Our communication may be a bit lacking here in the next months. :[

The biggest thing on my mind lately is just how excited I am to marry Andres.
I am just so beyond excited and ready.
I don't care that much about a wedding. I am just ready to be married to this boy.
Wedding planning is in the works though and I am glad to say that it is coming together perfectly.
It will be very intimate and small because Andres will not be able to have his family and guest there and I don't want to overwhelm him with "whities".
That being said, I will not be inviting everyone I know, and there will be some people that I love very much who will not be there.

It will also be a very short notice wedding because once Andres gets here, I want to marry that boy fast.  We are still waiting on visa paperwork, and who knows how long that will take? We are staying positive and hoping that it will take only 5 months (or less). That would have him here in time to attend my sister's wedding.

Now that you are all updates on life's happenings, I am going to go eat and do some laundry.
Ciao!!

Now that I am once again separated from most of my family I suppose I should try to start blogging again.
So on Wednesday I officially moved into Green Bay. It has been  pretty nice so far. I have no complaints.
On Wednesday  night Amber and Jessica came to visit me and stay the night.
I sure do love those girls and feel so blessed to have them in my life.
We ate Chinese food, watched a movie, had girl talk, drank tea, and did a bit of shopping.

I am also very pleased to announce that my wedding planning is coming together perfectly.
I bought a dress on Monday, as well as picked up a lot of  other needed things.

I am just so ready to have Andres here and to marry him.
I am waiting to hear back from the USCIS about his paperwork, and to see if the application was accepted.

What else, I think I will go out now to a nearby coffee shop that is hiring. Hopefully they will be interested.
Even though i don't want to go out in the cold and waste gas, I know it is good for me to get out of the house, if possible, once a day.
Sorry I neglect my blog so much, but i will try yo keep people updated on my life.
I love all of you who read my blog and try to keep up with my life.
