btw if you are curious about how my parents are doing in Dubai check out my mom's blog. She doesn't actually post them on here, I do. They are emails that I copy to the blog. But please do give it a read and follow it if you would like.

I have some thoughts, but don't feel like extensively blogging them. Sorry.
Coached tonight- it went surprisingly well. One of the other coached that I have been shadowing the last few weeks asked me to go to her girls night out tomorrow but she didn't realize I was not 21 and they are going out. :/
I have to close at the cafe anyhow. Super flattering though.
Got a hair cut- my ends were so damaged. Now my hair is super smooth and nice.
HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm thinking I will finish the Cecelia Ahern's book tonight. :]
It is sooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it sad that when my grandma asks me what I want for Christmas I can't think of anything. You would think that working in an entertainment store would give me a bunch of ideas. It hasn't.
I though about it all morning.....and I came up with the only gift I can thin kof at this point; A GIANT mug.
I had one before moving here but I left it and it was starting to chip anyway. It was my favorite though. It was big and blue and had snowmen on it. I carried it with me even in the summer. You would see me at church emptying the coffee airpots into it. :]
I love giant mugs. They are full of so much potential. You can drink stuff out of them, or eat out of them, or plant flowers in them, or store stuff in them.....ok I know I am stretching it a bit but I DO WHAT I WANNA.
Time to nap before going to coach. I will post once I get home maybe. I am so tired now, I had to open the cafe this morning. Its these 5am mornings that makes me wish I was a morning person.

HOORAY!!
Went to the Boise Vineyard free clinic today and started clinicals. Super fun. Seriously it was. The drive was a bit cold because the sun was still coming up over the mountains, but all in all it was a good time.
I got vitals on 7 people (I will admit not all of them were patients, but they were of varied ages and such.).
It was so fun. I may try to volunteer more often. I have to go back at some point soon and finish up with my last 3.
I really liked interacting with the people and just talking to them for those few minutes. YAY!
I remember a year or so ago I was beginning to truly hate people in general, but now I am being reminded of why I was that 4 year old who went door to door asking people to be my friends. People make me happy is why. I like being able to help them and laugh with them.
This one RN who I worked with was cute. She reminded me of my Grandma Carole.
She was a little quiet at first but then she warmed up to me and was so cute. SHe knew I needed vitals on more than the 3 patients I saw so she went around the clinic getting the other nurses and people working to let me take their vitals along with hers. Super cute!
YAY!
Now I'm so tired and I think I am going to nap before going to coach. 36 hours of work + school and clinicals= BRING IT ON!!!!

wow
Holy cow I have grown up alot in the past few months. Or did I just have to finally start being responsible? I like it. :]
It makes me happy.
BTW... Jesus is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!
OH! Brenda was telling me that some of her co-workers gave their paid vacation days and gave them to her while she is not working. How much of a blessing. And Brenda thinks God doesn't do miracles here in the states. Silly girl. You are just asking for God to show off.

Intubated my first patient today. A.k.a. a dummy. Intubating is not something that an EMT Basic actually does in the field. It is a paramedic skill but my teacher thought we should learn to do it anyways.
It is super nerve racking even on a dummy.
tomorrow we get to practice delivering little plastic babies.
also just booked my tickets to the midwest. Can not wait to see my family. I am flying into Chi and then heading up to Wis.
