Church was fantastic this morning. Of course. I love this church. SO awesome!

On the way home there was a full rainbow in the sky. I mean full- like full!!
I could see where it touched down to the ground. I tried taking pics. You have to look close but it is in there I promise.

Is it possible to find an Audrey Hepburn movie that isn't fabulous?

So many dads and daughters getting coffee together this morning. So cute!!!!
There is something so special about going out with dad as a little girl.
It was adorable to see them come in and the little girl ask dad about getting a hot chocolate and of course the dad buys her one.

Then there are the moms who come in with their daughters or sons. Today this mom and daughter came through the drive through (the daughter was treating) and it reminded me of getting coffee with my mom. The mom didn't really know what she wanted so the daughter was coaching her through ordering her drink. It was so cute.


It made me get a bit vapory when I thought that I hadn't seen my parents in 2 months now, and It will be a while yet before I can go out on a date with my dad and ask him to buy me hot chocolate, Or go out to coffee with my mom and coach her through her order, if she doesn't order a "mocha latte" that is. I truly appreciate those times when we are just going out with no distractions and enjoying being together. I can't wait to see them in dec. I have to call one of my managers in a few hours and see if I get the time off, then I will be buying my tickets. :D
Can't wait!!!!



Before you think that I am super depressed and sappy, just know that I am actually doing great. I love working as a Barista, and love the people I work with. I am starting to get comfortable around here and am looking forward to the future. I know that I will be super busy with work for the rest of the school year working 2 jobs and all.


Other random note, I just discovered the most fantastic snack. Pita bread with roasted red pepper humus and cream cheese. SO FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!

Got a flu shot today

Training at the gym is officially over. I wish I could say that I felt totally cool and ready, but I don't. I feel better than I did before though. I got to spot some boys gymnastics today. I LOVE LOVE spotting. I learned to spot front tucks on the trampoline along with swings into an inverted hangs on the rings. It is a very different things spotting boys gymnastics though. I also forgot what it was like to have someone teach you to spot things and then watch you. It is nerve racking. I am used to winging it if I don't know how to spot a skill. So far it has been correct with spotting but it is a weird thing to go through again.


Any who.... I am stalling on my EMT homework right now. I am reading the chapter on Obstetrics and Gynecology. After sitting through my teachers lecture on the chapter tues night I think I will pass on having kids of my own for a LONG WHILE!!! (I know my mom is going to email me about this and be like "having a child is beautiful and one of the most amazing things in your life, and some stuff like that.) I think my teacher's lecture could keep rabbits from reproducing. He went as far as to compare a placenta with a steak or wet pizza! GAG!!! I asked him what kind of steak he was eating.
I just can't understand why people would go to school to just deliver babies.
My teacher did say one things that made me not mind learning it. He said that he likes going on calls where he has to deliver babies because that is a call where everyone is happy in the end, for the most part that is.

Now that I have wasted a bunch of time on that it is time to move on to the next order of business. Hannah Montana. Yes that is right. I need to get my hands on something that is unmistakeably a Hannah Montana get up. I have to work until close on Halloween and thought I minus well dress up. So I picked Hannah Montana because my name is Hanna and people will love that.
So I am wondering if Hanna is an uncommon name in Idaho because so many people have remarked on my name being a cool name or something like that as if it were a rare name. People here though have crazy names, like that the Y all the girls I coached were Kileys or Kaileys or Ally, or Olivias, or Emilys. Here they are all crazy names that I can't even remember because I wouldn't even know how to spell the names. I work with people whose names are all similar, there Chantelle, charlene, and shawna (tonight was here last night, I am taking over her classes). Then at Hastings it is like My Big Fat Greek Wedding hastings edition. We have two Nikis in the cafe alone, then there is a manager named nicky and then a few Nicks in the bunch. I just don't know anymore.
This is truly the end of my ranting.

opening 3 mornings in a row is tough stuff. THis morning I did not want to get up at all. When I got to work (after stopping at Starbucks. SHH.... dont tell) two of the managers were there and told me that they had been there all night. I one had to stay until noon also. What a trooper.
This morning was so slow. No one came in until after 9 and even when they did start coming in it was only a few.

Luckily I don't have to work at the cafe at all tomorrow. One guy who has come in for coffee the last few mornings was sad when I told him that I wasn't opening tomorrow. He came in and was all like "I was waving at you this morning. Did you see me?" haha.
I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow, and study. I do have to coach tomorrow night though. (I coach tonight, I'm not sure how well I am going to do at this point.)
I also requested off for my trip to the mid-west in early Dec. Hopefully I get the time off. If not I will be so so so upset.
