Guilty Pleasure= The Wedding date.
I love this movie, but I am a little bit ashamed to admit it. hehe

Just thought I would share these pics from friday. I took Ziggy for a walk after running around pretending to look for work.

We walked to the park and I was planning on reading. Once we got there Ziggy wouldn't chill and she pooed there in the park. I had to find a chip bag to pick up the mess. EWWW

Once we made it to our front lawn Ziggy Laid down on the grass and snuggled in. It was so cute.

---------------------
SO then yesterday I got up late as usual and spent my day doing much of nothing. I did some homework and made some pasta for lunch. Then I fell asleep on the couch. I was jolted awake by my phone going off in my pocket.
It was a text from Pete. (He is in the Missions Medic Program, and I met him the day I got there)
We were just chatting and we realized that we were much closer than we thought. We thought we lived really far away, but when we got to talking about it we realized that we live like 5 min from each other.
So we met up at starbucks and had coffee and hung out. It was good to have company finally.

My plan as of last night was to go to the Meridian Vineyard this morning with Brenda. Last night when I got back I found out that Brenda was going to be at the hospital today so I wouldn't have a car or Brenda to go with. SO Pete said that I could prob get a ride to the Boise vineyard with his ride. I took a drive out to find the meridian vineyard in hopes that I would find it close enough that I could bike there this morning. I found it, but it is not that close.ha
SO I told Pete I would go to them. I texted him this morning at like 8:30 to see what was going on. I didn't get a text back so I assumed he was sleeping. I woke up with Brenda yelling at me asking if I was going to church because my ride was here. I don't think I have even gotten dressed so fast.
Now I am vegging out and watching The Wedding Date. After that I have a bunch of EMT reading to do.

All dressed up with nowhere to go

Pretty much describes today. I wore my new yellow dress today and found that the gladiator sandals I bought with my dad when he was here are a perfect match for the dress. I wish I had done much more worth talking about. ha
I went for a bike ride. Then took "Baby" out and about to learn some of the other streets in the area. I stopped off at an athletic center to see if they were hiring and they said only personal trainers. I'm not sure how qualified I am for that. It started getting busy so I went home, because my scooter isn't tagged and I don't even have a license to drive it at this point. ha
I tried calling on my starbucks app but the manager wasn't in yet again today, so tomorrow I will call. I filled out an online app for Hastings Books' barista position. I'm not gonna lie I don't remember the last time I had this much free time to sit around. I have played like 20 inline games of scrabble. This is ridic. I would go out and try to meet people, but the area I live in isn't so helpful for that. All that is around me is businesses.
Brenda's mom went to rehab today. I guess she is walking a bit with a bunch of help. Brenda said that her mom isn't quite the same mentally though anymore. Brenda doesn't seem to think her mom will last much longer. :[
It's kind of a crazy time for me to have arrived here.

Bahaha look at Ziggy!!

updates from the land of potatoes:

I'm sitting on the couch eating a choco taco and watching The Devil Wears Prada.
I just got back from my job interview at Dick's Sporting Goods. I have no idea how it went, to be honest. I'm hoping for the best. When I got out of my interview I got sucked in by the Maurice's which was conveniently placed right there. See the shirt I am wearing in the pic ^^ well I bought that, along with a super cute yellow belted dress!! SOOOO cute! I have a serious problem with that store, so much cute stuff.
I took Baby and he did a good job getting me there and back. He seemed a bit stressed when I tried taking him above 50mph. I was so proud that I took Baby out to get ice cream after. SO I got a choco taco and some other random Oreo thing. Now Baby gets to take a break. Once I got home I called a bunch of places which I had taken applications in to last week. Most of them were going through applications and said it would be a week or so before I would hear anything.

So here I sit for now. Maybe I will sketch a bit. I spent yesterday dong some sketching.

It didn't take me all day to do that. I did some other stuff too. I vacuumed, worked out a little, and playing Chess against the Computer.

I have finished my first week of school and I'm pretty sure I love it.
My teacher is a paramedic/ firefighter who spent a number of years in the navy as a core-man. So take all of the characteristics typically associated with all of those occupations and combine it into one person. That is my teacher. He is fun though. If he were any different I would be sleeping through the class. There are mostly guys in the class with a few girls. It is still in that awkward stage where no one talks before or after class. That won't last though.

I need more yarn to crochette yoga socks for Jessica

This random guy stopped by the other day and asked to aerate to our lawn here. He wanted to poke a bunch of hole in the dirt and leave what was in the holes around the lawn looking like little dog poopies. But BEHOLD WHAT WE WOKE UP TO THE NEXT MORNING!

AND I REALLY DON'T LIKE POTATOES!!!
Stupid Idaho Soil, it forces you to be a Potatoe farmer if you want to be or not.
Never let a company with the name "jack's magic beans aerating" touch your lawn!
