yay puppies
This morning Brenda and I went to a christmas tea that Elen invited us to at the Boise Vineyard. Elen was hosting a table and invited us to sit at her table. Haha remember last year when I hosted a table at the christmas party?? Good times.

It was snowing yet again when we went on our way.

So we had tea and got served lunch, there was also some entertainment and a speaker. One of the area news caster ladies spoke. They also had a drawing that we entered before we even entered the sanctuary. I'm sure my parents can guess where this is going.
The food was good, and the entertainment was nice too. It was a bit odd for me because it was too loud to really talk to anyone, so I felt like I was at a dinner show sitting at a table with mostly strangers except for the few people I knew who were sitting anywhere but next to me.

When they did the raffle drawing instead of having us come to the front for our price they just called out names and attached that persons card to the gift and left it in the foyer.
THey called out so many names. I was starting to wonder if they were calling off all the people who hadn't won a prize. Anyways!!!!! I had my name called. haha
And guess what I won? It follows suit. I won a 50 dollar spa certificate. Feels like HInckley all over again. :]
Just thought my parents, if no one else, would find this funny.

I sure do miss my dog. TOOOO much!!!

I had the absolute worst dream ever last night. Throughout the whole thing I felt totally helpless and I would not, could not believe it was actually happening. I don't remember ever feeling that lost and heartbroken. In the dream a certain guy (who will remain nameless, though I'm pretty sure it is no secret to anyone) had died, and at a very young age I might add. I don't remember how but everyone around me and even his family was confirming it. I refused to believe it. I have always viewed him as being kind of invincible not to mention the fact that he and I are obviously supposed to spend our futures together, whether or not the thought has even crossed his mind. Heaven knows it has crossed my mind, and dreams enough for the both of us. hehe
The whole time I couldn't get out of the dream and I was beginning to question if it was a dream.
I felt so helpless and alone and just angry. I really don't know why I am typing this at all. I guess I just need to get it out of my head. All I know is that he had best not die anytime soon if he knows what is best for him. ha

Sidney Kidd: I understand we understand each other.

The Philadelphia story

Macaulay Connor: C.K. Dexter Haven, I would like to talk to you.
C. K. Dexter Haven: Well, let's go in the talking room.

..

Librarian: What is thee wish?
Macaulay Connor: I'm looking for some local b - what'd you say?
Librarian: What is thee wish?
Macaulay Connor: Um, local biography or history.
Librarian: If thee will consult with my colleague in there.
Macaulay Connor: Mm-hm. Dost thou have a washroom?
[the librarian points]
Macaulay Connor: Thank thee.

..
I watched The Philadelphia Story at the suggestion of Rae (my fantastic Manager).
If you haven't seen it, I suggest you watch it soon. At least before you die. The wit is just fantastic. I love the witty banter that is throughout the entire movie.
I am also reading a book that made mention of the movie which is another reason that I rented it in such haste.
Oh yes so the book I am reading. It is titled Love Walked In it is by Marisa De Los Santos.
It is fantastic thus far. I was originally reading it during my breaks at work but they weren't long enough so I decided to buy it. (used of course)

This is the coffee cup that is to blame for my phone's sudden demise.

The end of the month (or start of a new month) means it is time to re-write my calender.

So I just dropped my phone...into a cup of coffee!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Also to make things more complicated, it is snowing here, and by snowing I mean really snowing. IT has been snowing non-stop since yesterday afternoon. They are having record breaking snow fall here in the valley. Oh goodness!!!!!!!!
So I am trapped in my house. I am supposed to coach tonight, but I am not driving in this. I don't care if I am supposed to be there, I have made that mistake of driving in to coach and ended up in the ditch on my way home.
I have my phone in a bag of rice and I am hoping that will suck the moisture out. If not I know the phone is insured so I can probably get a replacement one or activate my mom's old phone that she send with me here just in case. The crazy thing is that I had a feeling something was going to happen to my phone anytime soon. I was just thinking that i need to write any new numbers into my phone book so that I have them. Of course, I didn't get around to it.

FOr some good news, I had a chance to play the Violin today. It was a good time. :]
